Andrē Šarls Buls (fr.
André-Charles Boulle, 1642 — 1732) - franču mākslinieks, zīmētājs, kokgriezējs, gravieris, zeltītājs, izcilākais sava laika mēbeļnieks, sava īpaša stila radītājs. Pēc izcelsmes flāms, no 1672. gada Luija XIV galma mēbeļnieks. Galvenā meistara stila iezīme ir īpašā inkrustācijas tehnikas nepārspējamā daudzveidība. Savos darbos A.Š.Buls eleganti kombinē dažādu šķirņu kokmateriālus, ieskaitot eksotiskās Indijas un Dienvidamerikas šķirnes ar bruņurupuča bruņām, ziloņkaulu, perlamutru, misiņu, sudrabu, bronzu un citiem materiāliem. Pēc viņa nāves, darbnīcu mantoja viņa četri dēli, kas turpināja darbību no klasiskā baroka līdz pat rokoko. Pašlaik Bula un viņa pēcteču mēbeles var redzēt Luvrā, Versaļā, Fontenblo, Klunī muzejā Parīzē.

André-Charles Boulle, 1642 - 1732) — французский художник, резчик по дереву, гравер, рисовальщик, позолотчик, крупнейший мастер-мебельщик своей эпохи, творец особого стиля художественной мебели. Фламандец по происхождению, с 1672 придворный мастер Людовика XIV. Особенностью стиля мастера стала искусная инкрустация в технике «маркетри», получившая в его работах невиданное ранее разнообразие. В своих работах Буль изящно сочетал разные сорта дерева, в том числе экзотические индийские и южноамериканские породы, панцирь черепахи, слоновую кость, перламутр, латунь, серебро, бронзу и другие материалы. После его смерти мастерская перешла к четырем его сыновьям, и мебель наследников эволюционировала от классического барокко к рококо. В настоящее время мебель Буля и его наследников хранится в Лувре, Версале, Фонтенбло, в парижском музее Клюни.
